Jason MacDonald Appointed Assistant Principal at J.T. Foster
Posted onLivingstone Range School Division is pleased to announce that Jason MacDonald has been appointed Assistant Principal of J.T. Foster High School. Jason has been serving as Acting Assistant Principal of the school since January.
“Jason is an exceptional educator and brings a wealth of experience to our team,” says J.T. Foster Principal Roger Doucet. “We are so glad he has joined our team!”
Holding Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Education, and Master of Education degrees from the University of Prince Edward Island, Jason received his Principal Certification from the University of Alberta. He has thirteen years of teaching experience and has been with LRSD since 2018.
“Jason’s proven leadership will be an ongoing asset to the staff, students, and families of J.T. Foster,” says Richard Feller, Associate Superintendent of Human & Learning Services. “He offers tremendous enthusiasm for continuing the school’s culture of excellence.”
Jason is looking forward to ongoing positive relationships with the students, staff, and parents at J.T. Foster. “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work alongside this experienced team in our efforts to benefit students.”
A native of Marshfield, PEI, Jason now lives in High River with his wife, Heather, and dog Axle. When he’s not teaching, Jason enjoys reading, camping, hunting, and staying connected with family and friends.
