Honouring Student Excellence Awards 2024-2025

Each year Livingstone Range School Division recognizes the achievements of outstanding students at the Honouring Student Excellence Awards. For the 2024-2025 school year, the awards banquet and ceremony took place on June 2, 2025 in Fort Macleod. The Board of Trustees hosted students, their families, and staff members as we celebrated these exceptional students.

  • Jayden Flitton, Grade 12 | J.T. Foster High School, Nanton
    ENMAX Environmental Leadership Scholarship. Awarded to a student with oustanding environmental leadership and citizenship qualities in non-academic activite in the school and community.
  • Deacon Yellowhorn, Grade 6 | Canyon School, Pincher Creek
    ASBA Honouring Spirit: Indigenous Student Award Recipient. Award bestowed at a ceremony in Edmonton on April 14, 2025.
  • Kingston Alexander, Grade 12 | F.P. Walshe School, Fort Macleod
    ASBA Honouring Spirit: Indigenous Student Award - Honourable Mention
  • Zoe Nelson, Grade 12 | F.P. Walshe School, Fort Macleod
    Dr. Lloyd Cavers Student Leadership Scholarship. Awarded to a student whose leadership abilities have had a positive impact in the school and community. 

The following students were also candidates for the Dr. Lloyd Cavers Student Leadership Scholarship and were recognized at the awards night:

  • Shawn Smyth, Grade 12 | Livingstone School, Lundbreck
  • Emmitt Carlson, Grade 12 | Willow Creek Composite High School, Claresholm
  • Adam Noel, Grade 12 | Matthew Halton High School, Pincher Creek
  • Zoe Krahulic, Grade 12 | J.T. Foster High School, Nanton
