Livingstone Range School Division is pleased to announce that Randy Bohnet has been named Principal of Granum School beginning in the 2024-2025 school year. Randy has been the Acting Principal of Granum School since September 2023 and was Assistant Principal from 2020 to 2023.

Randy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Calgary, Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Lethbridge, and Master of Educational Leadership degree from the University of Calgary. He has been in administration roles with LRSD since 2003.

Superintendent Darryl Seguin is certain Randy's leadership will continue to benefit the Granum School community. "Randy has spent the past four years developing strong relationships with the students, staff, and parents of Granum School," says Darryl. "His vast administrative and teaching experience over his career has prepared him well for this position."

Randy appreciates the positive family feel of the school, which benefits students. "I am super excited to be part of growing that culture and watching our students excel in it," says Randy. "With the ongoing support of a very involved parent council and the enthusiasm of students and staff, I look forward to us accomplishing our vision of engaging and inspiring leaders of the future."

In his spare time Randy likes to flyfish, tie flies, golf, play pickleball, tinker with old cars and motorcycles, woodwork, and go boating. But mostly he enjoys time with his wife and reading with his grandkids when they’re not playing and building things together.

Congratulations to Randy on his leadership role at Granum School.
