Posted onGiven the government’s new public health measures and the quickly approaching holiday season, the coming weeks will be a unique combination of rapid change, uncertainty, anticipation, excitement, and concern.
"These times may lead to both increases in stress and hardship and periods of rest and enjoyment," says LRSD's Clinical Team Leader, Dr. Kendra Massie. "Additionally, individuals and families may encounter feelings and experiences they find difficult to get through on their own."
We want to remind students, families, and school staff that our Family School Liaison Counsellors continue to provide in-person and electronic services during school hours. If you question whether a Family School Liaison Counsellor may be of support to your school-aged child or family, please contact your school and ask to speak with the school counsellor.
