Jas Schmirler
International Coordinator
Jas helps create a great experience for foreign students and their host families. Working with international agents, she processes applications for students from around the world to come study in LRSD. Jas also oversees the homestay host family program and provides support for students, homestay coordinators, and host families.
As someone who loves to travel and experience other cultures, Jas lived abroad in Shanghai, China and in India, and has traveled to South Korea, Philippines, Bali, Thailand, Egypt, US, Mexico, and Turkey. She loves communicating with people across the world.
Jas studied at the University of Calgary in the department of humanities, and loves to continue learning by reading non-fiction. She likes 80s and 90s pop music, dancing, watching movies, and spending time with her husband and three children.
