A By-Election for 1 School Board Trustee in Ward 1 will be take place on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 between the hours of 10:00am and 8:00pm.

VOTING STATIONS
Voting stations will be located at:
- Granum Drop In Center – 306 Railway Ave, Granum, AB
- Claresholm Community Centre – Lodge Room - 690 59th Ave W, Claresholm, AB
- Stavely Community Center – Small Hall – 5101 52 St, Stavely, AB
- Tom Hornecker Recreation Center – Curling Lounge - 2122 18 St, Nanton AB
ADVANCE POLLS
Advance voting will take place Tuesday, September 26, 2023 between the hours of 2:00 pm and 8:00 pm at the following locations:
- Claresholm Community Centre – Lodge Room – 690 59th Ave W, Claresholm, AB
- Tom Hornecker Recreation Center – Curling Lounge - 2122 18 St, Nanton AB
VOTER ELIGIBILITY
A person is eligible to vote if the person:
- Is at least 18 years old,
- Is a Canadian Citizen and
- Resides in Alberta and the person’s place of residence is located in the local jurisdiction (ward one) on by-election day.
VOTER IDENTIFICATION
An eligible voter will be required to validate the person’s identity and address of the person’s residence by producing one piece of identification issued by a Canadian government, whether federal, provincial or local, or an agency of that government, that contains a photograph of the person, the person’s name and the address of the person’s residence.
